• Who We Are

TeacherStick is produced by teachers with many years of teaching experience (too many?), and experience of many different roles and responsibilities. We have called our company Mobile School Websites. We also create AssemblyTube, PSHE Tube, and other educational websites. We are based in Bristol UK.

The ERA Licensing Scheme

ERA licenseThe ERA Licensing Scheme permits staff at educational establishments to copy, access and use, for non-commercial educational purposes, broadcast output of ERA’s Members in the form of ERA recordings. You will require a licence if you wish to use material sourced from broadcasts (including accessing catch up tv services of the UK public service broadcasters) for teaching resources.

Most educational establishments in the UK are already covered by an ERA licence.

The ERA Licence allows you to copy broadcast material to use as part of a lesson.  It also allows the use of certain on-demand services such as BBC iPlayer, All4, ITV Player, My5, and S4C (On Demand).  Holding an ERA licence means that an institution can not only copy but also retain broadcast material.  It allows institutions to build up libraries with valuable resources to be used when teaching.
